Dung (Dzung) Dinh Luong currently has an appointment as Industry Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in Tandon School of Enigneering of New York University (NYU Tandon). He received his B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering fromProgram for Excellence Engineers in Vietnam (Programme de Formation d'Ingenieursd' Excellence au Vietnam, PFIEV)atHanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2004. Four years later, he earned the M.S.degrees in Mechanical Engineering when he was a lecturer in Department of Applied Fluid Mechanics and Ship Engineering of HUST. He graduated the Ph.D program in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of Technology (now known as NYU Tandon) in 2012. His research focus on processing and structure-property correlation for light-weight, composite materials; modeling material behaviors; and biomaterials and bio-inspired materials with several peer-reviewed papers, conference presentations and book chapters. He also provides the lectures of Finite Element Method, Materials Sciences, and Mechanics of Materials for NYU students.
